"$26 In My Hand" Ad

This t-shirt has probably one of the oddest advertisements I have ever seen for a shirt. Well done! I bet readers probably spend an extra 30 seconds trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

Life can't be this awkward?

Well I wrote about AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com back in May and I might have found a website that tops this. I'm not sure if its Safe For Work, but I'm sure the ladies will love it.

Check out, AwkwardBoners.com for a good hard laugh.

Photographer: Patrick Hoelck

Patrick is definately an artist you should know. His B&W photography is stunning in a fun way. He was a strong ability to capture the true character of his subject.

"Patrick Hoelck’s photography resonates because his darkness does not hide, pervert, destroy, or malign. Instead, it emboldens, signifies, nurtures, resurrects an individual for who they are: sexuality and celebrity status are consequential of being human..."

FRESH MUSIC: White Rabbits

They have been around since 2007, but if you like the Cold War Kids then the White Rabbits might be right up your alley. They have a steady drum and piano sound pushed by their vocals and its pretty catchy stuff. Perfect for a Thursday afternoon.

White Rabbits "Percussion Gun" Official Video

"Fort Nightly grabbed a lot of people quickly with its saloon dance, and many of those fans might be initially put off by the turn White Rabbits have made to their march. But after a few more spins, It’s Frightening’s rhythm and percussion beats down the door and stays ringing in your ear." -- QPO Magazine

"Rudolf" by the California Raisins

6 Dollar Shirts

It's hard for me to spend more than $15 on a t-shirt, so when I found 6dollarshirts.com I couldn't believe it. Someone is finally selling cool shirts for a SUPER cheap price. The best part is that they have a daily 10 shirts for $50 special. Worth checking out to help fill up your Christmas list.

"This is our gift to you, oh beautiful world. Nowhere on the internet will you find such a large variety of quality printed t-shirts at such a ridiculously low price. While other online t-shirt businesses charge three times the price and deliver one-third the quality, 6DollarShirts crushes them out of existence and makes them get real jobs."

Movie Trailer: Robin Hood

Besides this being one of my favorite stories, this looks like a bad ass movie, period.

'Robin Hood' Trailer HD

"Robin Hood chronicles the life of an expert archer, previously interested only in self-preservation, from his service in King Richards army against the French. Upon Richards death, Robin travels to Nottingham, a town suffering from the corruption of a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation, where he falls for the spirited widow Lady Marion, a woman skeptical of the identity and motivations of this crusader from the forest. Hoping to earn the hand of Maid Marion and salvage the village, Robin assembles a gang whose lethal mercenary skills are matched only by its appetite for life. Together, they begin preying on the indulgent upper class to correct injustices under the sheriff."

Music Video: "Cousins"

I'm not completely in love with the song yet, but VW is an awesome band that plays a great show with a fun sound. This video plays to their strengths.

"RED"

RED is a photo book I did in college. It's my modern day version of Little Red Riding Hood. I'm interested in trying this again with different fairy tales, so let me know if you want in. I'm think Cinderella, Beauty & The Beast and Aladdin.

Here's a great artist you should know, Tim Navi. His photography is like a fading youthful memory caught between the magic hour of a sunset. His flickr is full of great iconic images you could find in any indie magazine. Very inspiring.

Pandora + Car = Road Trip!

I love Pandora and I have been using it for like the past four years at work. Seriously what an awesome idea and I've found so many new bands with it. My iPhone usually dies on the road if I stream Pandora for 5 hours so this is a God send.

"...the company is now working with various car manufacturers (including Ford) to better integrate Pandora music streaming into vehicles. That will apparently first come in the form of in-dash or hands-free controls to let folks use a docked device running Pandora."

FRESH MUSIC: Teriyaki Boyz

The Teriyaki Boyz remind me of everything flashy in HipHop culture slammed into a Japanese blender. Its flashy, fast and catchy.

Well they haven't made the jump to the States but I wouldn't be surprised to see them on TV within the next three years, especially since Pharrell is mixing their beats.

Urban Knitting: The world's most inoffensive graffiti! Now, this isn't something I want to try but can you imagine an entire street covered in this stuff. It would be pretty sweet.

We Feel Fine

I just love this book cover, which only becomes more fascinating after visiting the website and playing around with its interactive page. Seriously, its a good 10 minutes of fun dancing around with confetti filled with thoughts and emotions.

"We Feel Fine," by Jonathan Harris and Sepandar Kamvar is a book about human emotions collected from their website wefeelfine.org which itself is like Post Secrets but a little more straight forward. Definitely worth looking into if you need a cool Christmas gift idea.

"Sentiments spring to life via pages of user-contributed emotions and accompanying photos. Scientific analysis (how hormones, chemicals, and age affect behavior) and info graphics (maps charting which states report feeling most happy, lonely, or fat) are also included."

"Sometimes" by Miami Horror

What a great little "Blue Lagoon" of a music video. I still don't know what's going on but I love the song. Pop synths and a 80's summer fun dance beat. Miami Horror play it again.

Tiger Woods and the 19th hole

The Wanda Sykes Show: Tiger Woods Car Accident

I don't care what the truth is... Wanda's version is how I see it. And, its not a race thing, an athlete thing, its a rich guy thing... can't rule the world dude and cheat on your wife.

"Tiger Woods offered a 'profound apology' to his family and fans Wednesday as he was linked to a third reported mistress. 'I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart,' Woods wrote on his Web site." -- NYDailyNews.com
