This must have been a pain to create, but the end product is mesmerizing.

Shop: Society6.com

Society6 is a website for artist to sell their illustrations and photos on tshirts, hoodies, and laptop skins. Even I should create some new Graffiti Pencil art and sell it. There is so much really cool stuff worth checking out.

Also, I bring this up because Jerod Gibson's artwork is kill'n it and if you are a film buff like me. You may need some of his work for your office or TV room.

"Society6 empowers you to make your artwork immediately available for sale as a variety of products - without giving up control of your rights. When you sell a product, we'll produce it, package it, and ship it for you, so that you can focus on creating more art!"

Art: NY Adorned “Tradition”

A great little piece honoring tattoos. I like it, because I got my tattoo in NYC.

Art: Star Grid Posters

Mark Brooks' Star Grid 2010 posters for Santamonica just runs with the idea of simplicity. The contrast between the black and white colors align perfectly with the basic shapes forming complex shapes.

Definitely top shelf thinking. All prints and t-shirts available at www.santamonicabcn.com.

Art: Scrabble's New Typography Makeover

This is so sexy. What a way to beef up a classic board game. I would love to see this done with Snakes & Ladders

"Designer Andrew Capener is ready to break your Scrabble board free from typeface tyranny. His gorgeous A-1 Scrabble Design Edition Board (conceived as a school art project while studying at BYU last year) gives Scrabble a modern design shake-up with a new board and customizable, mix-and-match fonts for the tiles." -- Good.is

Ad: Moleskin Silk Screen Printing

I want to try this with some of my own designs.

"The famous notebooks brand Moleskine just published a video showing us the backstage of a silk screen printing on those notebooks. How do they go from Black notebooks to personnalized items , ready to reveal your imagination." -- Whitezine.com

Thank God this doesn't happen to me, but I love the concept and the editing.

John Cleese on creativity.

Interesting ideas. I really need to try this out sometime and it might explain why I'm so bloody productive (creative wise) at 4am in the morning.

JOHN CLEESE WCF

"Another interesting point Cleese makes is that knowing you are good at something requires precisely the same skills you need to be good at it, so people who are horrible at something tend to have no idea they are horrible at all." --

Just Dance: IRC dance movement

Here's an amazing little video of dancers that combines some trick editing with some really cool moves. I so want to make something like this.

Art Speaks: THE WALKING DEAD

I don't post often about video games, because I don't play video games that often. This might change in November, so let's show some respect to the talented artists working behind these interactive programs. This opening title sequence is a visual story told in a very elegant way.

Video: Wizard Smoke

This is probably the most artistic skate video I have ever seen. It's very simple. Dust and skateboarders, but it captures motion and energy in a wonderful way. At least watch the first three minutes for Salazar's sake.

Music Video: "Lights"

Help! I need someone to explain this one to me. It's so weird/artsy that I had to post it.

Sculptures in Motion

How do you even begin to come up with things like this?

These amazing sculptures by Claire Morgan from Belfast really do look like they are in motion.

Thisblogrules featured more of her work.

Art Speaks: Scratching the Surface

Not only do I love how they shot this, but the colors and mash of images is stunning. You could stare at it for hours as these creative characters come to life before your eyes. Impressive. How do I get involved with stuff like this?

Art Speaks: Yulia Brodskaya

Artist Yulia Brodskaya has created some stunning Paper Illustrations that not only embrace 3D and color, but have a great sense of movement. Definitely worth checking out.

“Typography is my second love, after paper and I’m really happy that I’ve found a way of combining the two. Having said that, I don’t want to exclude non-typobased designs, I’d like to work on different projects.” - Yulia

Amazing Animated Optical Illusions

I really want to know how this works. It seems so simple, but when you can create animation without real motion or multiple images... it blows my mind!
