Shop: Society6.com

Society6 is a website for artist to sell their illustrations and photos on tshirts, hoodies, and laptop skins. Even I should create some new Graffiti Pencil art and sell it. There is so much really cool stuff worth checking out.

Also, I bring this up because Jerod Gibson's artwork is kill'n it and if you are a film buff like me. You may need some of his work for your office or TV room.

"Society6 empowers you to make your artwork immediately available for sale as a variety of products - without giving up control of your rights. When you sell a product, we'll produce it, package it, and ship it for you, so that you can focus on creating more art!"

Crystal Mercedes-Benz SL600

I'm not one for the flashy life style, but seriously... I'm jealous. I want one. Yet, I would love to see Daft Punk using these in their next music video.

D.A.D LUXURY CRYSTAL BENZ THE MOVIE-予告編

"Perhaps two of the most excessive cars on display on the recent Tokyo Auto Salon were the so-called Luxury Crystal Benz’s, each one a customized Mercedes-Benz SL600 studded with–we were told–300,000 Swarovski crystals, modified by Garson/D.A.D." -- Bouncing Red Ball

Fashion Passion: Recycled Suit Tote

Scott - Recycled Suit Tote: Price $250.00

Probably one of the coolest bags I have ever seen. Yet, I don't know how something that is recycled can cost more than the original product? Well, at least Poketo is a pretty cool store/website.

Shop: Hello Rewind Laptop Sleeves

I'm all for recycling old clothes. Especially if you can take my favorite t-shirt and fashion it into a usable laptop sleeve. Well Hello Rewind is uncovering all of the endless possibilities.

"The vision for Hello Rewind today is as a social enterprise creating two-fold renewal. One, to recycle old, beloved t-shirts and make something brand new. Two, to develop a business which supports sex trafficking survivors in New York City. I don't believe these two missions are dichotomous." -- Hello Rewind

Gift Ideas: Lego My Apple

I know I don't officially plug all things Lego (and I probably should), but seriously Lego My Apple is SO cute. Especially since I grew up playing with Legos and I'm sure it help fuel my creative side. I bet there are many concepts that could work with the Apple theme too. (Check out the Snow White version.)

VHS Hard Drives

I just want one to have lying around the office. I think a VHS copy of Tron or Indian Jones would be awesome!

"For those who like their storage combined with celluloid nostalgia, there're these external hard drives hidden inside VHS tapes: available in 320, 500, or 640GB, they come sheathed in flicks like the original Star Trek, Top Gun, and Return of the Jedi -- just pray the Ewoks don't go and ruin all your files, too." -- VHS Hard Drives, $5

iPhone: Make Your Own Free Ringtones!

So I bought a few ringtones in my day. Yes, I paid twice for a song just to hear it play when the GF called. So what... but deep down I knew there was a way to play them for free. Especially since I didn't buy most of my music.

Good news, eHow.com has an easy how-to process that works like a charm. Enjoy!

"Actually, with a little bit of trickery (nothing illegal) you can create ringtones from any one of your non-DRM songs in your iTunes library easily and for free." -- eHow.com

6 Dollar Shirts

It's hard for me to spend more than $15 on a t-shirt, so when I found 6dollarshirts.com I couldn't believe it. Someone is finally selling cool shirts for a SUPER cheap price. The best part is that they have a daily 10 shirts for $50 special. Worth checking out to help fill up your Christmas list.

"This is our gift to you, oh beautiful world. Nowhere on the internet will you find such a large variety of quality printed t-shirts at such a ridiculously low price. While other online t-shirt businesses charge three times the price and deliver one-third the quality, 6DollarShirts crushes them out of existence and makes them get real jobs."

A Box of Magical Things

I love arts and crafts stores because they inspire me to do creative things. What if you could order a box full of wonderful things to inspire creativity? Well you can!

"Parcel. Based out of Montclair, New Jersey, the new online shop is full of crafty inspiration boxes. Available in two sizes and a variety of themes, the pretty parcels consist of vintage and hard-to-find bits of ephemera, millinery, and supplies and are perfect for craft projects, gift wrapping, party planning, or simply as decoration."

They are about $50 a piece but what isn't these days. Be inspired.

Transformers USB, the movie!

I so want one.

Transforming USB Flash Memory (2 GB) - Ravage PRICE: $42.99

"Sure, you already have piles of flash drives scattered around your apocalyptic nightmare of an apartment, but this one's more special than those, right? Because it's a Transformer-- Ravage, AKA Tripredacus Agent." -- engadget

Recycle, Reduce, Reuse

New Soap, Old Bottle

"We sell brand new liquid soap packaged in old plastic soda bottles, plastic water bottles and glass beer bottles to help clean up our environment. Each bottle is cleaned, sanitized and processed for reuse as packaging for your favorite brand of liquid soap."

New topic! I rarely write about the saving the environment and being a little Earth muffin, but seriously this is an awesome idea. I might try to order some stuff when I move, but kudos on being creative. Better yet, why not try to make them yourself and give them out to the neighbors.

Buy your music from Amazon!

I love everything Apple but when it comes to my music... just getting into the habit of paying for it was hard enough that I don't need them raising prices. I haven't heard of bands and artist approving of this but its good to know that some companies are still looking out for us.

"As promised, variable pricing has now been implemented at the iTunes music store. Already, we're seeing most of top 10 singles and 33 of the top 100 hitting the top price-point of $1.29 (encoded as DRM-free 256kbps AAC). Interesting as Amazon's uncomfortably similar top 10 list has all these tracks priced at $0.99 (encoded as DRM-free 256kbps VBR MP3)."

The Smart Shopper - Wordlock

I didn't go to high school so there are a lot things I never learned... like how to talk to girls, the real effects of drugs and how to use locks. So the Wordlock™ Luggage Lock looks like a real simple way for me to beat the learning curve. Plus its kind of cute. Price: $10.50

"Meet the world’s first word-powered combination lock. Instead of racking your brain to remember your numeric code (or even worse - losing the key), you set the TSA-accepted lock with a four-letter word that’s easy for you to remember. P-E-R-U, anyone?"

Cool Inventions! Yummy Like Toastabags!

Toastabags (Price: $9.95)
Its a bag you put your food in before you toast it. Helps keep the cheese and crumbs from making a mess in your toaster.

"But hidden behind this trash bag facade is a thermological, nutrition preparation device of truly impressive proportions. For, as its name suggests, the Toastabag allows you to cook things in a toaster. Not in every toaster, just the slotted kind that most people have nowadays. All you do is put the ingredients in the bag, pop it down in the toaster and wait."

I have what you want

Last week I found this cool little website. I think its pretty new but the concept has been around forever. Its called Swaptree. Here's how it works....

1. add to have list (items that you are trading)
2. add to want list (items that you want to receive)
3. swap items (its free)

Now I haven't signed up to this website and I've been looking for negative reviews. If you know of anyone who has ever tried it. Let me know. Thanks.

"You list the books, CDs, DVDs, and video games that you want to get rid of and the books, CDs, DVDs and video games that you want and swaptree does the rest."
