I can't stop listening to...

"You make me feel so good" by Junkie XL

Anyone that samples the Speak & Spell is awesome in my book. Also, the dance melody is a mass collection of fun things you've heard before.

FRESH MUSIC: Now, Now Every Children

Now, Now Every Children is one of those bands on my iPhone that I have no idea how it got there. However, I often find myself listening to their songs on repeat. They have this local band sound, but there's something hauntingly fun about their songs. Good music for a rainy day.

"Friends with my Sister" - Now, Now Every Children

"Their lo-fi recordings in combination with Dalager’s heartbreaking voice championed the attention of some of the harshest critics of all, their peers, earning a spot as 'Band of the Month' on Paramorefans.com." -- last.fm

Movie Trailer: "When In Rome"

This looks pretty funny. Plus the concept feels very original. Anyone else happy to see Dax's acting career blossom?

"On a whirlwind trip to Rome, Beth impulsively steals some coins from a reputed fountain of love and is aggressively pursued by a band of suitors." -- Touchstone Movies

Keep It Short: "Camel Girl"

What an interesting character. I definitely feel that they can really run with this.

Technologic: Light Touch

Basically, its a projected holographic keyboard. Light Touch, really has the ability to change the way we shop. Maybe even cut down on the lines at the mall.

"As the name implies, LBO's product is a laser projector that turns any flat surface into an auto-focused and image-adjusted 10-inch touchscreen with WVGA resolution thanks to its laser- (not LED) based pico projection engine dubbed HLP (holographic laser projection) and infrared touch-sensing system." -- engadget.com

I'm with Coco

Thank you Conan O'brien. I think this last week of the Tonight Show has been epic. Truly epic and has been some of the craziest stuff ever seen on basic late night TV. I wish you the best in your future endeavors. Thanks for making me laugh in high school, college and post college. (yeah I've matured) Hopefully your next gig will have you head to head with Jay Leno and together we'll squash them.

Sincerely, a fan.

PS> I wish my hair could do that.

FRESH MUSIC: Passion Pit

Passion Pit is a collection of smooth American electronic music with a groovy sense of boogie. Definitely reminds me of a high school make out session. Fun, sexy and full of high pitch noises.

Passion Pit - Sleepyhead

"The slang Passion Pit is derived from traditional Variety-speak used in the Hollywood industry publication. The trade used the slang to refer to drive-in theatres, because of their privacy and romantic allure for teenagers." -- Wikipedia

"Passion Pit's full-length debut... a shiny bouquet of synth-pop roses, with perfumed Eighties keyboard whooshes and modern stutter beats crooking a finger toward the dance floor." -- Rolling Stone

iPhone: Make Your Own Free Ringtones!

So I bought a few ringtones in my day. Yes, I paid twice for a song just to hear it play when the GF called. So what... but deep down I knew there was a way to play them for free. Especially since I didn't buy most of my music.

Good news, eHow.com has an easy how-to process that works like a charm. Enjoy!

"Actually, with a little bit of trickery (nothing illegal) you can create ringtones from any one of your non-DRM songs in your iTunes library easily and for free." -- eHow.com

Keep It Short: The TV Show

This is one of the sickest animations I've seen in a long time. Totally love the way the action plays out. Well done.

FRESH MUSIC: The Ruby Suns

If you love The Flamming Lips, then you will like The Ruby Suns. It's a mystical journey into the world of sound. Also, I really like "Kenya Dig It?"

The Ruby Suns - There Are Birds

"The Ruby Suns are an indie/pop group from New Zealand. They formed in 2004 when Californian Ryan McPhun moved to Auckland and started playing in several bands such as The Brunettes and The Tokey Tones." -- Wikipedia

The Sexiest Commercial of '09

So claims Spike TV is Fleggaard's booberific skydiving TV ad. I think its more erotic than sexy due to the blatant nudity, which leaves nothing to the imagination. I know the one rule in advertising is that sex sells, but the saddest part is that its all CG and I kind of wish they tried it for real.

Well judge for your self.... #6 on Spike's list was my favorite.

Legos VS Hoth

I've showcased some cool Lego stop motion and thought it was time to post some cool Lego photography. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and Avanaut from flickr has done some amazing stuff with the Hoth theme. Enjoy.

Model Aluminum Can Cars

"Meet Sandy Sanderson from New Zealand. Needing something to keep himself occupied after breaking his wrist in a motorcycle accident, he started building amazing model cars from discarded aluminum cans." -- Jalopink

Seriously, this is sick as shit. I hope when I retire and have oodles of time on my hand I can make stuff like this (right Evan). I want a Coors Light car!

FRESH MUSIC: Vangel

Vangel, is a mash of electronica, acousmatic, psychedelic, tape music. It's a raw hip lounge sound that I completely love since I'm a fan on Bonobo.

VANGEL - Eat Your FootLoose (LIVE) - (Promo Video)

"The Toronto-based producer first turned heads with his production work in the Canadian hip hop scene, with his work being described as “beats so gloriously fucked, they make EL-P sound like a more accessible Moby” (Now Magazine)."
