Handsome Men's Club

This is probably the funniest late night sketch that I've seen all year. Well done! SO HILARIOUS!

Super Bowl 44

My GF and I ended up in Chinatown at one of my BU friend's apartment. The ratio was 7 girls and 2 guys, so I was sure it would be an interesting Super Bowl and boy was I right. Even though, I really didn't care who won, I wanted to see the Saints to beat the Colts. Gratefully, after a lame half time show, some brilliant DEF and a Madden like onside kick... the Saints pulled it off. (Wow!) Well done, shots of Captain all around!

Anyways... I still really watch the big game for the commercials. This year wasn't too bad, though the order that they appeared in could have been different. Well, here are My Top Three Favorite Commercials. Check out Youtube to watch the rest of them.

I'm with Coco

Thank you Conan O'brien. I think this last week of the Tonight Show has been epic. Truly epic and has been some of the craziest stuff ever seen on basic late night TV. I wish you the best in your future endeavors. Thanks for making me laugh in high school, college and post college. (yeah I've matured) Hopefully your next gig will have you head to head with Jay Leno and together we'll squash them.

Sincerely, a fan.

PS> I wish my hair could do that.

Diversity: Dance Group - Britain's Got Talent 2009 - The Final

There is no way Boyle was going to ever win with a dance crew like this tearing up the stage. OMG! This is one of the sickest live performances I have ever seen, simly because the little kids kill it! Bravo! Bravo!

Drinking to the Good Life

One of my old house mates Zach really turned me on to this show. It's a great concept and if you're into film making (like I am) then you kind of feel like you're getting a sneak peak at what happens behind the scenes. Good luck filming the new season and I hope to find someone with HBO by September.

"In a shocking twist, Adrian Grenier and the Entourage guys shot a scene in Hawaii in which they appear to relax and hang out with some lovely bikini-clad women."

Entourage Goes On -- E!Online

"Entourage's upcoming season - Production begins on Season 5 in April 2008 with 12 episodes to be initially produced. However, Producer Ellin said that if HBO decides to order more at the last minute, then they are up for it. Season 5 planned to satirize the writers' strike but has been scrapped as Ellin feels that most people are over the whole debacle and would prefer to deal with different material. Due to the writers' strike, Season 5 will premier in September 2008 instead of June. Among the story lines for Season 5 will see Vince and the boys deal with being broke due to the failure of Medellin, a struggle with Walsh over the new script. Drama's TV series reaches unexpected success worldwide and will Also see the return of Domenick Lombardozzi, the actor who plays Dom....Ellin says he has four more seasons of scandalous behavior in reserve, implying that Entourage will probably run through year eight."

Air VS Fire

OMG yes...its coming back! It still is one of the best American cartoons on TV today and the final chapters of this wonderful series is going to be sooo badass.

Avatar: The Last Airbender (also known as Avatar: The Legend of Aang in several countries) is an award-winning American animated television series that currently airs on the Nickelodeon television network. Set in an Asian-influenced world of martial arts and elemental manipulation, the series follows the adventures of the latest of a long line of Avatars, Aang, and his friends in a quest to save the world from the ruthless Fire Nation. In the series' terminology, each episode is referred to as a "chapter" and each individual season as a "book."

Recall on the Scooby Snacks

Scooby-Doo is a long-running American animated series produced for Saturday morning television in several different versions from 1969 to the present. The original series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, was created for Hanna-Barbera Productions by writers Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, CBS executive Fred Silverman and character designer Iwao Takamoto. Hanna-Barbera produced numerous spin-offs and related works. Although the format of the show and the cast (and ages) of characters have varied significantly over the years, the most familiar versions of the show feature a talking dog named Scooby-Doo and four teenagers: Fred "Freddie" Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Norville "Shaggy" Rogers. These five characters drive around the world in a van called the "Mystery Machine", and solve mysteries typically involving tales of ghosts and other supernatural forces. At the end of each episode, the supernatural forces turn out to have a rational explanation, typically criminal plots involving costumes, latex masks and special effects intended to frighten or distract.

So then can someone tell me why its still on TV?! Not only why its on TV but why Cartoon Network thought it was a good idea give it a daily two hour time block? Come on people its a cartoon from the 60s that hasn't changed its plot formula for 40 years! I could name so many other cartoons you could bring back that are so much better, like He-Man, Beast Wars or Batman! There is nothing more annoying than Scooby-Doo. First they stumble upon a mystery. Then they fool around for 25 minutes and some how unmask the villain and solve the mystery before the credits roll, LIKE EVERY TIME! Geeze, they're as bad as the Power Rangers and their need to grow big before defeating the bad guy every episode! Seriously its repeat repeat repeat. Where is the originality?

So Cartoon Network I beg you to stop airing Scooby-Doo episodes and leave it to Boomerang to remind us what old school cartoons look like. Besides its so easy to fill those extra hours by extending Adult Swim's time slot or add more episodes of My Gym Partner's A Monkey and Totally Spies. My morning cartoon routine depends upon it.

I love a Superwoman!

So the other night I'm watching a repeat of The Colbert Report and the theme of the show is water, which turned to be very fascinating. The guest was inventor Dean Kamen and his vapor compression distiller. It's a water cleaning machine that is amazing and he's trying to get millions made so he can spread them world wide. How does it work? Basically stick one end in dirty water/sewage and out the other end comes pure clean water. I have no idea how it actually works or what it will be called. BUT thats not what this is about! What I remembered the next day was a little comment Colbert made while pointing at the 3 gallon jugs of water on the ground. Colbert questioned Dean if he had ever been to a web site called "pretty girls carrying heavy things.com"

And it gets a pretty good laugh and even stumps Dean for a second. The next day...i decided to look up the website AND.... it doesn't exist! What?! Its such a novel idea too. Pretty girls carrying heavy things. So simple and not pornographic but for some odd reason very cute...? Turns out the following day after the show had aired it reached the 9th spot on Google Trend for that day. Also someone from Godaddy.com was watching and now they own the rights. So if you have the time and money to waste, I'd go ahead and start building this great photo sharing website: Prettygirlscarryingheavythings.com

Just let me know when you are done.

You can watch the segment here: The Colbert Report - 3/20

Fierce Pride

Like a million other Americans last night my girlfriend and I curled up on the couch and watched the final of Project Runway 4 and to no surprise (I told everyone all week who was going to win but no one really wanted him to) fierce Christian won! Seriously I don't watch the show but if I'm flipping channels and its on I usual watch about 30 minutes of it before going back to cartoons.

I'm so happy for him because he's so young, talented and has goals for his life. Christian (my fav) was not only creative like my man Chris but he was sharp which is hard to do. (Besides Victoria Beckham loves you and I love her.) Besides this seasons cast was SO talented. Honestly amazing. Rami or Jillian could have won and it would have been justified. Rami is the most excellent designer of all (Probably the best ever on that show). Jillian improved every week and seriously made clothes for women.

I applaud Project Runway for being one of the only few shows where we actually see people's talent. They are making original stuff not eating weird things or running through obstacle courses or trying to sing their best rendition of a popular song. We artist watch to be inspired.

Though the only things I can't really stand about the show is all the advertisement and product placement. Plus the way they edit the show. As an editor I pick up on everything, its like trying to listen to a song but it skips every 4 seconds. So annoying.

Well good luck to next season's cast and I wish I could try out but I can't make clothes. Oh well. Cheers.

PS> I think TLC also has some great shows but more on that later.

PS. PS> Did anyone see the jeans commercial where the guy pulls up his pants and the street crashes through his bedroom. The person in the booth was a dude this time around, so there must be two versions of this spot. It's all about who is your target audience.
