FRESH MUSIC: Washed Out

Washed Out reminds me of a cool summer's night on the beach with your best hoody sweatshirt. It's truly the sound track for the life of leisure. "Feel It All Around" is my favorite track from his mystical Life of Leisure EP.

"Washed Out is Ernest Greene, a young guy from Georgia (via South Carolina) who makes bedroom synthpop that sounds blurred and woozily evocative, like someone smeared Vaseline all over an early OMD demo tape, then stayed up all night trying to recreate what they heard." -- Pitchfork

This song definitely could have been in The Matrix series. edIT's music style makes me want to pop'n'lock as he takes us on a magically grungy adventure.
