This is amazing. They must have had a lot of fun making this.

Photo: Andrea Klarin for Figaro

"In photography, the golden hour (sometimes known as magic hour, especially in cinematography) is the first and last hour of sunlight during the day, when a specific photographic effect is achieved due to the quality of the light." -- Wikipedia

Photographer Andrea Klarin is able to maximize this opportunity in his series for Figaro. I love its color tones and energy. Plus you can't really go wrong with a pool and palm trees.

Music: "The Bay"

It's a fun song and video with style set in Torquay, Devon. I'm all about the framing and composition.

Future Mrs. Ex: Kina Grannis

It's her nose, but honestly Kina is a beautiful woman with talent.

"Kina Grannis is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. Grannis was the winner of the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest. As a result of winning, she earned a recording contract with Interscope Records and had her music video played during the commercials of Super Bowl XLII." -- Wikipedia

Music: Beldina

Beldina is Swedish. Seriously, who knew that country was such a hot bed for good music. I love how this song starts then kicks it up a notch. Also it's a great video, can you feel it?

Beldina - Here we go

"At the young age of 21, Beldina has already established herself as one of the most appriciated soul/jazz singers in Sweden. Although she maybe unknown to some of you, she’s been behind the spotlight working with artists you probably have in your cd collection." -- ifiwereabell.se

Video: MAXON 25

I wonder how long this took to make? Excellent execution though, so fluid and the ending sequence. Very nice.

Music: "Heart It Races"

Every time I hear this song, I fall more and more in love with it. Yet I'm still not sure which version I like best, though Dr. Dog's cover is so sweet.

Future Mrs. Ex: Yasmin Shahmir

It's her eyes and she's a DJ. Damn. I could marry her twice and never call it a mistake.

"Yasmin Shahmir, who performs under the mononym Yasmin, is a British DJ and singer-songwriter. She is signed to record label Levels Entertainment, an imprint of Ministry of Sound and began her singing career in October 2010 when she appeared on rapper Devlin's single 'Runaway'." -- Wikipedia

Photo: Lost in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland is one of those childhood stories that continues to inspire artists, because of it's stunning visual elements.

Even my own photo series Alice Wonderland tried to play true to these themes. Elouise van Riet-Gray's photo series Lost in Wonderland, does an excellent job of high lighting the color pallet and fashion sense of the original story. Definitely worth browsing.

Music: Star Slinger

Still loving me some Star Slinger. The insane level of his grooviness is an enemy of Batman.

Music: WIN WIN

WIN WIN is pleasantly awesome. What a cheery fun electric sound. I feel like it's a mash up of Phil Collins , Washed Out, Vampire Weekend and the Gorillaz. The remix of their song "Release rpm" makes me want to go play on the beach.
