Khruangbin
Khruangbin is a three-piece band from Texas, formed of Laura Lee on bass, Mark Speer on guitar, and Donald Johnson on drums. Thanks to their 70s vibe If I remade Oceans 11 or Driver I would use their music. Check out their bandcamp for all the goods.

KOKOROKO
KOKOROKO is a London based Afrobeat 7-Piece. They play music they love and grew up with. Inspired by the greats of West African they honor their masters through music. Also they definitely have a Buena Vista Social Club vibe and that's saying something.

Thank God It's Friday (Part 2)
For TGIF again I'm pulling tracks from my 2011 saved drafts. It's a punk, electronic and indie rock selection that I still dig. The hidden gems are "Outtacontrol" by LDFD, "Antics" by Jubilants, "Hyperlips" by Com Truise, "Swim" by Wishing Wars and "Long Gone" by Prison For Kids.
Thank God It's Friday
For TGIF this week I'm digging through my saved drafts from 2011 for nuggets. I've had this blog for almost ten years and there are saved links that I don't remember. Featured below are "Electric Lady" by Tesla Boy, "Sandcastle" by Beverlay, "Plastic Slides" by Winter Gloves, "Lets Lightning" by Pull Tiger Tail and "Funeral" (Band of Horses cover) by Copenhagen Collaboration. You can thank Oscar & Ander for the last one.
